RamboBet, how we handle your personal data
The information you give us is there to let you bet safely, not to fill archives. This page explains, in plain terms, what we collect, why we need it, how we keep it secure and what choices stay with you. As a UK-licensed operator we are bound by data protection law, and we would rather be clear about all this than hide it behind jargon.
What we collect
We handle three kinds of information. The details you give us when you register and get in touch, such as your name, contact details and the documents used for verification. The data tied to your activity, such as deposits, bets and withdrawal requests. And technical data gathered as you browse, such as your IP address, device and browser type, which helps the site run and stay secure.
Why we need it
Every piece of information has a purpose, and we do not ask for more than we need:
- to run your account, your bets and the cashier;
- to verify identity and age and meet our licensing and anti-money-laundering duties;
- to keep the service secure and prevent fraud or unauthorised access;
- to answer your support requests;
- to send service messages and, where you agree, marketing.
Without some of this, verification data in particular, we cannot complete sensitive actions such as withdrawals. That is a protection as much as an obligation.
How we protect it
We use technical and organisational measures to look after your data: encrypted connections, access limited to those who genuinely need it, and storage no longer than the purpose and the law require. No system is ever perfect, but we treat the security of your data with the same seriousness as we treat the cashier, because one depends on the other.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with those who help us provide the service, such as our platform and payment providers and the partners who carry out verification, and with authorities where the law requires it. In each case we limit what we share to what that specific purpose needs, and we expect anyone working with us to protect your information to the same standard.
How long we keep it
We do not hold data longer than necessary. While your account is open we keep it to run the service; after it closes we retain only what we are required to, such as records tied to anti-money-laundering and financial rules, for the period the law sets. Once those periods pass, information is deleted or anonymised so it no longer points to you.
Your rights
The account is yours, and so is control over your data. Under UK data protection law you can ask to access the information we hold, correct or update it, restrict how it is used, or request erasure, within the limits of the duties we must meet. To exercise these rights, simply contact us, and if you are not satisfied you may raise the matter with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and minors
For the site to work and to remember preferences we use cookies, explained in our cookie policy. Our service is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. For questions about your data, use contact us; to learn more about us, read about us or return to the home page.
